Which Sectors Achieved the Highest Engagement in Collaborations?
On Instagram, the top 100 highest-engagement posts are predominantly concentrated in FMCG, Fashion/Footwear, and Consumer Durables. In terms of format, Posts and Reels stand out, while humor-driven collaborations draw particular attention.
According to the report:
“When examining the nature of engagement, a clear distinction emerges between volume measured by numbers and the meaning carried by engagement. Although celebrity collaborations generate high numbers of likes and comments, this intense attention often concentrates directly on the celebrity rather than the content or the brand itself.”
On TikTok, Food & Beverage and FMCG brands lead the way. In terms of engagement type, recipe videos dominate in the Food & Beverage category, while personal care routines, makeup content, and product trials generate the highest save rates within FMCG collaborations.
On YouTube, the Finance sector holds the leading position, followed by Food & Beverage and Consumer Durables. Rather than fast-consumption content, YouTube stands out as a strong platform for categories that require information-seeking and evaluation. One of the key insights from the report highlights:
“On YouTube, the collaborations receiving the highest number of comments are concentrated on agenda- and conversation-driven channels, regardless of sector or brand. Brand integrations mostly occur through sponsorships and in-content product placements. In this model, as users focus more on the content than the brand itself, comments primarily center around the content and the channel.”
